EyeOnThePrize

Can Dabo Swinney's Tigers keep their sights focused on the right goals?

Clemson heads into Carter-Finley Stadium trying to attain that elusive 10th victory.  Last night's loss from OKST to Iowa St. has sparked a lot of talk about Clemson's ability to get into the BCS Championship Game.  Here's hoping that the players aren't reading message boards.  The main thing that needs to be on their minds should be beating this NCSU team.
A win against State gives the Tigers their first 10-win season since Ken Hatfield's team did it in 1990.  It also gives this team a ton of momentum going into Columbia two days after Thanksgiving Day.  Maybe the biggest thing a win provides for the Tigers is the possibility to gain an at-large BCS bid should they lose in the ACC Championship.  If the Tigers can keep their EyeOnThePrize, then a chance to make this a special season is in their grasp without even considering the possibility of a BCS Championship.

BTW... lets continue the trend and keep the purple jerseys in the closet this season... just sayin...
